Want to setup your own Joomla module with your own text, HTML code, image links etc.? Sounds like you need a bachelor degree in web development, right? Wrong! It can be done with a few clicks from your backend without any coding knowledge.
1. Login to your Joomla admin backend
2. Go to your Module Manager (click on "extensions->module manager")
3. Hit the "new" button in the upper right corner of your Module Manager
4. Select "custom HTML" as module type
5. Give your new Module a name and select a fitting Module Position
6. Add your content to the editor window
7. Save your new Module
